Felicity’s One Year Old “Sunshine & Rainbows” Birthday Party

4 Months ago, we had Felicity’s One Year Birthday Party.  Since we have called her our “little sunshine” from birth, and she is our sweet little “rainbow baby,”  I decided to go with a “Sunshine & Rainbows” themed birthday party. Here are some photos from her special day… The Food Table.  Rainbow table cloth from Target. All of the Sunshine signs, posters, banners, etc I purchased from this Etsy shop. 12 Things I Learned From Our Day at the Beach

While we were in Florida, visiting my grandparents, we had a chance to spend a day at the beach.  We headed to Daytona Beach, as it was the closest to my grandparents house. This was a day with a couple of firsts for our family.  It was Felicity’s first trip to the beach.  It was also all of our (except for my husband’s) first time to swim in the Atlantic Ocean!  We’ve all (minus  baby) swam in the Pacific, the {Read More}

I know that He wants me to keep Him first in {Read More}

Our Mini-Vacation – Instagram Style

    We just got home from a super fun 3-day beach vacation (more like staycation – only 5.5 hours away from home!)  We had a great time, enjoyed the beach with the kids, and stayed at a really nice resort in Galveston that we got a killer deal on through Priceline!  Love that site!  We originally said we wouldnt take any vacations this year (since we had three last year!).  However, we decided on a “mini-vacation,” and used that {Read More}

Spring in Texas

The weather is beautiful here right now.  In the 80’s all week.  The wild flowers are in bloom, so we headed out yesterday for some pictures in the bluebonnets.  Every Texan’s yearly springtime tradition!   I had Trevor snap a few of the baby and me too!  I think he did a pretty awesome job! Our sweet baby at 15.5 weeks!
