Reflecting on this Past Year

One year ago today, I delivered our little Brendan David at 18.5 weeks, who was already with Jesus.  What a year it has been.  I wish I could say I have been fine, and pulled through beautifully, but the truth is, losing this baby has been the most difficult grief out of our three boys that have been born stillborn between 18-21 weeks.   This year was hard.  Very hard. But even in the hard, God has been so faithful.  He is {Read More}

The Lord Gave us 18.5 Weeks with our Precious Brendan

Just a month ago, I posted about our exciting news.  Finally announcing (here on the blog) our newest pregnancy, at 15 weeks along.  I announced the pregnancy long before that to family and friends.  For whatever reason, it just took me a while to finally blog about it. 🙂 It is honestly a surreal feeling to be, once again, posting about the death of another one of our precious little ones.  I think I still feel a little shocked.  It is hard to {Read More}

Exciting News!!

For whatever reason, I tend to become very quiet when I am in my first trimester of pregnancy.  I am already a naturally quiet person, but for whatever reason, that first trimester of pregnancy pretty much shuts me down.  I tend to post WAY less on social media.  I just sort of power off in that area. Now that I have emerged from my first trimester, I am here to finally announce on the blog, that we are expecting again! {Read More}

Baby Update: 39.5 weeks {Final Pregnancy Update}

I’ve reached the end of my pregnancy, and it’s time to finally meet our sweet baby girl!  I will be heading in tomorrow morning for an induction.  I am super excited, and can’t believe the time has finally come!! My excitement has been shaded a little by the stress of my doctors’ appointment yesterday.  The dr estimated the baby at 10lbs 8oz on the sono, but said with the inaccuracy of  measurements this late in pregnancy, she could be anywhere from 9-12 {Read More}

Baby Update – 34.5 Weeks

WOW!!  Can it even be possible that the last baby update post I wrote was all the way back in MAY?!  I can’t even believe that!  Time sure has flown by with this pregnancy.  I guess just being busy with my other kids has made it feel so fast.  I am kind of in scramble mode right now, trying to get everything ready before baby arrives. I am coming up on 35 weeks here in a couple of days.  It {Read More}

We’re Having A….

I can’t believe 2 weeks have already gone by since we found out the gender of our baby – and I haven’t posted about it yet!  My blogging is seriously lacking lately!! Anyway, most likely you already know, if you follow my blog FB page, personal page on Facebook, or instagram.  But of course I can’t let exciting news like this go unspoken on the blog!! Baby Update

Almost 2 weeks ago I went in for my 12.5 week visit to the dr.  I got to have another sono!  Yay!  I am loving having sono’s every time I go in.  It is super comforting!  It is so different seeing a perinatologist (high-risk ob).  I first have a sono with the sonographer,  And then when my perinatologist comes in he also does a sono himself, carefully looking at all the details of the baby.     At this appointment {Read More}

Just Gettin’ By…

I know it’s been quiet around here.  I haven’t posted since announcing our BIG News! I’ve just been exhausted.  And nauseous.  Just trying to get by each day with the bare minimum….feeding the kids, and teaching school.  Cleaning….what’s that again?  Facebook?  Blah!  Even taking pictures?  No thanks!  I just dont feel like anything much that I usually do.  But I know we must press on with our schoolwork, and so I do.  And food…we have to eat…at least the kids do. {Read More}
