Well, yesterday my baby girl turned two! (Sigh) I have to admit my kids birthdays are always a little bittersweet for me. I love watching them grow up, I love seeing God begin to work in their lives, I am so thankful for the life God has given them, and that He has so graciously chosen to place them in my care. I know I shouldn’t be sad about them getting older, but the truth is, it is a huge struggle not to have a hint of sadness in my heart watching them get older. They will never be this age again, never go back to being that tiny baby in my arms again.
Ok, now that I got all that sappiness (is that even a word?) off my chest ~ yesterday our sweet little Zoe Grace turned two!! She is such a sweetheart, and such a joy in our lives! I spent some of the day yesterday baking her a cake with a puppy on it~because she loves puppies! Then we took her and her big brother Trevor to Chuck E Cheese. This is starting to become a tradition. We take the kids there on their real birthday, and then have a larger friend/family party at another time. Her Uncle Steven, Aunt Lara (Lolly as Zoe calls her), cousins Sierra & Jaysen also joined us for the fun!! Zoe had a blast and loved throwing out her hand and telling everyone ~ “I two!”

the fruit of the womb a reward. Psalm 127:3
