As promised, I am posting some pictures from Trevor’s 5th birthday, and also a few from my birthday! To see the pictures from my birthday click here, and to see the pictures from Trevor’s birthday, click here!
Jared was very sweet, of course, and planned a fun day for my birthday! He even did it pretty low-cost, like I was hoping! My sister watched the kids all day and overnight the day before my birthday. Jared took me to get my haircut, because it was something I had put off for a long time!! He had fixed up our bike tires, and was planning to take me for a bike ride along the river, but sadly, I twisted my ankle the day before and couldn’t do that – bummer! So, instead we went to lunch, and did a little shopping because I had some b-day money from family to spend! Then we came home and that evening Jared cooked me dinner (this is BIG for him – it is only the second time he has done this!). He made BBQ chicken, broccoli, and baked potatoes, and it was very good! Then we went to see a movie! It was a lot of fun! The next day, on my real birthday, my sister and mom came over and Jared watch our kids along with my sisters kids so we could all go to lunch together! My sister took me to the Maccaroni grill (I love Italian food)! We had some great girl time together! Then that evening we went to Jared’s grandparents house and had dinner with them and Jared’s mom, and uncle. Then Jared’s Papa wanted to take the kids to a nearby carnival to ride the ferris wheel and other rides, and we did! We had a blast. Then we went back to Jared’s grandparents house to have some cheesecake that Jared made for my birthday! Yes, Jared made it, and it was delicious!!! So that was it in a nutshell! It was a very special time.
