I love my hot coffee.
But, in this Texas summer heat, sometimes I just need a cool treat.
- Brew your favorite coffee. Transfer what you brewed (either the full amount or the leftovers of what you didn’t drink) into a pitcher, or other liquid storage container.
- Place in refrigerator overnight, or at least for several hours. (You could put your leftover coffee from the morning into the fridge, and enjoy an iced coffee for your afternoon pick-me-up.)
- Once coffee is cold, pour into a glass, filling it 2/3 – 3/4 of the way full.
- Stir in your favorite creamer until desired flavor is reached. (I used coffeemate Natural Bliss, Sweet Cream flavor -yum!) Milk or cream and sweetener of your choice would work as well.
- Add a handful of ice
