I like to try to pick things for the kids Easter Baskets that have something to do with Christ, and developing a relationship with Him. So here is what we have going in their baskets for this year…
Trevor (11.5 years old):
A boys devotional book
Zoe (9.5 years old)
Zoe’s favorite Christian Artist right now (and she doesn’t have this cd yet)
Zoe’s other favorite Christian artist right now (this girl LOVES music!)
A bracelet like this.
Felicity (19 months)
She already has the first two volumes of this and LOVES them! It is one of the only things that makes her happy during car rides. Plus, I love it, since the whole family is learning catechism and memorizing verses with it!!
This is a book I have wanted to get for a while now – excited about it!
And a little lamb – as a reminder that Jesus is the lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
I’ll also add a few yummy treats to their baskets (especially for the big kids)! Then our fun little tradition (carried over from when I was a kid), is to hide the baskets around the house, and the kids get to hunt for them on Easter. They LOVE it!!
