Our Homeschool Day Schedule for Fall 2016

We are gearing up to get back to {home} school next week.  We are starting our 10th year of homeschooling!!  (Man, that is hard to believe.)

Friends often ask me how we set up our day, and what our schedule and routine looks like.   I thought I would share with you what our schedule will look like for this upcoming fall semester.  I always think it’s fun to take a peek into how others set up their homeschool day.

We now have a 9th grader, 6th grader, and a preschooler.  We use Heart of Dakota curriculum and have used it for the past 9 out of 10 years of homeschooling.  We absolutely love it!  I love the rich education it provides for our children, and the way it fits with our family.  I love that the lessons plans are done for me, so I don’t have to mess with or worry about that huge task in homeschooling.   I also love how each year it moves the student toward more and more independence.  Once the students reach middle school and high school they are doing almost all school work on their own.  For our family (with such a huge age gap in our children) this frees me up to be able to take care of Felicity, other things I need to get done around the house, prepping for co-op, and other duties.

Without further ado, here is our homeschool schedule for this semester…
